Privacy policy

What information goraedu collects when you use the site, and what we do with it.

Last updated

Effective date: November 7, 2026 (updated to describe advertising by Google AdSense)

goraedu is built to work without collecting personal information. You do not need an account, and no question or tool asks for your name or email address.

What we collect

Server and network logs. Like nearly every website, our web server and our network provider record technical information when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser type. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure. Our own server logs are deleted after 14 days.

Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes the same technical information to protect the site from attacks and speed up delivery. Cloudflare's handling is described in its privacy policy.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and records information such as the pages you view, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use it only to understand and improve the site. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, we do not send Google your practice answers, tool inputs or search words, and we do not use analytics data to identify you. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can opt out at any time: if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, analytics does not load at all; you can also block cookies in your browser or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising (Google AdSense). To keep the site free, we show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure them, limit how often you see the same ad and prevent fraud. Depending on your choices and where you live, the ads may be personalized based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and in Google's advertising policies.

Your choices:

  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we ask Google to show you non-personalized ads only. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies for frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention.
  • Ad personalization. You can turn off personalized ads from Google at My Ad Center, and opt out of personalized ads from many companies at aboutads.info.
  • Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown.

We do not send Google your practice answers, tool inputs or search words.

Practice progress on your device. When you answer practice questions, your browser remembers which questions you answered and whether your last answer was right, so the site can show your weak topics and let you review missed questions. This is stored only in your browser's local storage on that device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it contains no name, email or other personal details. You can delete it with the "Clear my progress" button on any practice page or by clearing your browser's site data.

Email you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information. Advertising is limited to Google AdSense as described above, and if your browser sends Global Privacy Control we ask Google for non-personalized ads only.
  • Practice answers and tool inputs are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.

If we add an email newsletter or another advertising partner in the future, we will update this policy before doing so, describe the change here, and provide any choices required by law.

Children

goraedu is intended for adults and older students preparing for a professional certification. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Because we keep very little, most requests concern email you sent us. Write to [email protected] with "Privacy" in the subject line.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the effective date.
