Corrections
Every factual fix we make to a published page or practice question, with the date and what changed.
Last updated
We want every answer on goraedu to match the official rules. When we get something wrong, we fix it and record the fix here. Where this log says "independent reviews", it means separate AI review passes, each run by an AI reviewer that did not write the page, as described on our methodology page; no human expert reviewer was involved.
How to report an error

| 2026-11-05 | EPA 608 Type II practice test | Question t2-011 (oil change evacuation) offered "0 psig" as a wrong answer, but 40 CFR 82.156(a)(1) also allows it. The question now asks for the highest pressure the rule allows (5 psig). Found in our own audit. |
| 2026-11-05 | EPA 608, EPA 609, OSHA construction and OSHA general industry practice tests | A full re-check of all 695 questions found questions where a stricter value also met the rule (for example "within 30 days" when the rule says "within six months"), or where a condition from the rule was missing from the question. 72 questions were reworded to ask for the exact value or condition the rule sets. No marked answer changed. |
| 2026-11-06 | CDL study guides | Two further independent reviews of the eight CDL study guides (license standards, driver qualifications, driving rules, hours of service, inspection, brakes, cargo securement, drug and alcohol testing) found points missing a condition from the rule (for example that a CLP's conditions apply to behind-the-wheel training on public roads, the extra conditions of the passenger sleeper-berth split, and the no-defect exception for vehicle inspection reports), a CLP validity point that said "may" where the rule says "must", quotes that started mid-sentence, and statements not found in the quoted text. About 45 points were narrowed, given a longer quote, merged or reworded. No limit, number or deadline was wrong. |
| 2026-11-06 | Drinking water operator study guides | Two further independent reviews of all drinking water study-guide points, published earlier the same day, found points missing a condition from the rule (for example the population served, the State's option to allow an alternative repeat-sample location, or that a 24-hour notice applies only to persons served at that service connection), quotes that did not cover the whole claim or ran across a page break, and statements not found in the rule text (names of later rules, and a general statement that States may be stricter). About 65 points were narrowed, given a longer quote, split or reworded. No limit, number or deadline was wrong. |
| 2026-11-06 | All practice tests (EPA 608, EPA 609, OSHA construction, OSHA general industry, CDL, FAA Part 107) | Three independent reviews checked every question against commonly circulated exam, sample and prep-bank questions, and rewrote the ones that were too similar so every question is our own, written from the official text. The same reviews corrected some questions where a wrong option was also allowed by the rule or by an exception (for example the extra two hours for adverse driving conditions in 49 CFR 395.1), a question left out a condition of the rule, or an explanation did not match the cited EPA.gov page exactly. |
| 2026-11-05 | All study guides and rules-explained pages (EPA 608, EPA 609, OSHA construction, OSHA general industry) | A full re-check of all study-guide points found points that read as the only option where the rule gives alternatives, points missing a condition from the same rule (who it applies to, a date, "where used"), a few points filed under the wrong heading, and quotes cut short. About 125 points were narrowed, given a longer quote, split or moved. No limit, number or deadline was wrong. |
| 2026-11-05 | EPA 608 Type I study guide, OSHA silica study guide | Two points read as if one option were the only one, or left out conditions from the same Table 1 row. Both now state all the conditions the rule gives. |
| 2026-11-07 | EPA 608 Core practice test | The Core set leaned heavily on definitions, certification paperwork and sales rules, and had few questions on the topics EPA lists for the Core exam. We removed 19 questions about duties of reclaimers, testing programs and proctors or narrow legal definitions (for example "parent company" and reclaimers' report deadlines) and added 27 questions written from EPA's Section 608 Test Topics and related EPA pages: ozone depletion, the Clean Air Act and Montreal Protocol, substitute refrigerants and oils, the three Rs, recovery and dehydration, safety and cylinder shipping. Each new question passed a fact check and three separate AI review passes. |
| 2026-11-08 | EPA 608 Type I, Type II and Type III practice tests | We added 27 questions written from the Type I, II and III topics in EPA's Section 608 Test Topics (for example recovery techniques for small appliances, leak detection, charging and recharging, and safety around low-pressure chillers). Each new question passed a fact check and three separate AI review passes. |
| 2026-11-08 | All EPA 608 practice tests (Core, Type I, II and III) | The Universal practice exam mixes all four sections, so a final audit checked every question against the other sections. Some questions gave away another question's answer in their wording or options, or tested the same fact twice. We removed 20 such questions and reworded 25 so they no longer give away other answers. No marked answer changed. |
Typos and wording changes that do not change the facts are not listed.
